The Assignment
For Fake Propaganda Video, I had to create a propaganda video. Since we are getting close to the final project, I decided to tie it into my final project idea. To make it I had to first compose the soundtrack. To do that I got the music from Pixabay. I then placed the music in SoundTrap. I recorded my own voice over the music. Then I exported the mix and placed it in OpenShot. I selected videos from Pixabay to go with the sound and used a logo I made for the ASU in Canva. I placed the video and images where I wanted them in OpenShot and finally put transitions between the different videos to give it a more mysterious feel. I think the hardest part of creating it was making sure the transitions were in the right place or otherwise weird stuff could happen with the video. In the end, I was fairly happy with my project, and I think my favorite part was putting the different pieces of media together to create the product.
It was worth 3 stars.
Oh my god, this is so good! It is very cinematic and mysterious, and those transitions are amazing! The propaganda got me, I suddenly have decided on a change in career paths…
The music is the perfect addition to a propaganda video, great choice!
